MALTBY — Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies were searching for a semi truck driver who lost a load — a tiny home — and abandoned it in the road north of Maltby.
The shed was found Friday morning blocking the street on 180th Street SE, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The semi truck apparently carrying the broken shed was found close to the scene, but it appeared the driver had fled.
Deputies believe the driver struck several power poles along the road before losing the load. The road was closed for the rest of the morning as authorities investigated the scene.
