Anxiety had to be running high as a rain-soaked Jon Day publicly asked Kelsey Ray to go to the senior ball with him Friday. The different approach must have paid off. She said yes after arriving where they both work. Day is a veterinary assistant and a senior at Cascade High School in Everett. Ray, a junior at the school, accepted flowers along with the romantic invitation.
