EVERETT — The public is invited to take a stroll through the history of some of the city’s north end streets.
Local historian Jack O’Donnell plans to give a slide show and talk about how the Northwest Neighborhood has changed through the years.
“What I’d like to do is show that change is subtle but it’s going on all the time,” O’Donnell said.
His talk is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 105 at Whitehorse Hall at Everett Community College, 2000 Tower St.
The presentation is part of the Northwest Neighborhood meeting but organizers said they wanted people to know anyone was welcome.
O’Donnell plans to bring slides of photos that span back to the early part of the last century, well before houses and roads stretched to the mouth of the Snohomish River.
If you live in the north end of town, you might even be able to spot your old house in one of his photos.
