Tri-City Muslims to rally against Quran burning

RICHLAND — Muslims in the Tri-Cities plan a rally Saturday in Richland, the same day a Florida pastor plans to burn the Islamic holy book, the Quran.

The leader of the Tri-Cities Islamic Center, Kaleem Ullah, told the Tri-City Herald that burning the Quran could incite some people.

The rally against the Quran burning is set for 4 p.m. Saturday at John Dam Plaza in Richland.
