LYNNWOOD — A hit and run on I-405 flipped a car into a ditch Tuesday near Lynnwood, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A southbound car changed lanes and hit a black Toyota Prius around 8:40 a.m., about a mile south of I-5, said trooper Heather Axtman. The Prius rolled and came to a rest on its roof.
A Shoreline woman, 32, suffered head and neck injuries in the flipped car, but the severity of those injuries was unclear, Axtman said. The Prius driver, 52, didn’t appear to be injured. However, an ambulance took him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle as a precaution, according to the state patrol.
Troopers were searching for a gray car with damage to its front end, likely the front right corner.
Traffic was able to skirt by the crash scene.
