ARLINGTON – An Arlington man was flown by helicopter to a Seattle trauma center Saturday after he was run over by the pickup truck he was working on.
The man, 42, was making repairs when the truck began to move and ran over him, Arlington city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.
Crew were called around 11:30 a.m. to the 17600 block of Osprey Road. The man was rushed to the Arlington airport where he was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries to his torso, Banfield said.
The man is expected to recover, she said. His condition was not immediately available.
