SMOKEY POINT — A pickup truck smashed into the post office building late Tuesday morning in Smokey Point.
Crews were called to the U.S. Postal Service building at 3621 168th St. NE just before noon, Marysville Fire District spokeswoman Kristen Thorstenson said.
Firefighters found a red 2005 Ford pickup that had struck the front of the building.
The crash damaged a support column and a front window of the building, Arlington spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.
The flying debris from the wreck hurt as many as five people, but none of their injuries were serious enough to require treatment, Banfield said.
The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old Arlington man, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Banfield said.
