BARING — A tractor-trailer rollover created an hours-long traffic obstacle along U.S 2 on Friday afternoon, but no one was injured, the Washington State Patrol said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred near milepost 43 around 1 p.m.
The truck was eastbound when the driver lost control and spilled bark from its flat-bed trailer, trooper Mark Francis said. Some oil also spilled.
The cause was under investigation.
The wreck left only one lane of the highway open. It wasn’t expected to reopen until about 5 p.m., Francis said.
Until then, traffic was running in alternating directions.
