SPOKANE — Turkeys have overrun a Spokane neighborhood, ruffling the feathers of some residents on three blocks of North Regal.
Butch and Arlene Dawson say they’re tired of the birds ripping up flower beds, blocking the road and fouling driveways with their droppings.
Kelly Smith acknowledges he was an original turkey owner but the birds on the loose are what he calls “God’s turkeys.”
KXLY-TV reports animal control, county and state agencies don’t want to touch the turkey problem.
