Turkeys still available at Snohomish food bank

Snohomish Community Food Bank is open today to serve families who didn’t get their Thanksgiving supplies on Tuesday.

At least 40 families who regularly get their food from the food bank didn’t make it because of the snow, said Elizabeth Grant, the food bank’s director. Volunteers served about two dozen families in the few hours the food bank has been open today.

Grant plans to stay open at least until 1 p.m. today. Customers who are not sure they will make it should call 360-568-7993. The food bank is at 1330 Ferguson Park Road,

Snohomish.
