SEATTLE — The city of Everett and King County each won $1.4 million in funding for two separate bus projects, federal officials announced Friday.
Everett’s grant will allow the city’s transit agency to replace four of its aging buses. King County’s grant will pay for environmental and preliminary engineering work to reconfigure two bus terminals south of downtown Seattle.
Federal Transit Administrator Jennifer Dorn announced the grants while making stops at the King County Courthouse and the Everett Station Multi-Modal Center.
