MARYSVILLE — Two people were arrested after reportedly tying up a restaurant employee during a robbery attempt early Tuesday.
A waitress at the Buzz Inn Steak House in the 1100 block of State Avenue was tied up when police arrived just after midnight Tuesday, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said.
The employee told officers a man who had been a customer came behind the bar, pointed a gun at her and ordered her to floor, Krusey said. She gave the officers a description of the man and a woman who had been with him.
Detectives investigated, served a search warrant late Tuesday night at a home in the 6500 block of 68th Avenue NE, and then arrested a Marysville man, 32, and a woman, 31, at the Everett Transit Station.
The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail early Wednesday for investigation of first-degree robbery.
The woman also was booked into jail for investigation of first-degree robbery and drug charges.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Marysville police at 360-363-8326.
