BLACK DIAMOND — King County sheriff’s deputies have arrested two people in connection with the death of a woman found last weekend in a burned car near Black Diamond.
King County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Jim Laing told KOMO-TV the two people have been booked into jail. He says the investigation continues.
The victim’s burned remains were found in the trunk of a Toyota Camry that had been driven to a rural road early Sunday then set on fire.
The King County medical examiner has identified the victim as 39-year-old Denise K. Grigsby of Kent. Her cause of death was a skull fracture and cerebral contusions. And her death has been ruled as a homicide.
