SNOHOMISH — Police say that a pair of 14-year-old boys stabbed a man outside his Snohomish home late Thursday.
The man said the boys were strangers and he had confronted them for being on his property. At some point earlier, they had knocked on his door and fled but returned, he said.
The incident was reported about 11 p.m at the home near First Street and Avenue A.
The man, 47, was taken to a local hospital with wounds to his chest and leg.
He said one of the boys stabbed him while the other threw a bicycle at him.
The teens allegedly also slashed the tires of his vehicle. They were found by a police dog and arrested nearby, said Shari Ireton with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The boys were booked for investigation of second-degree assault.
