EVERETT — Two Everett men were behind bars Monday for reportedly running a marijuana grow operation along 147th Street SW, off of Ash Way.
A Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy went to the home after receiving a tip that the area often smelled like marijuana. Witnesses reported a lot of foot traffic.
Several attempts were made to contact people at the home, according to affidavits filed in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Last month, the deputy went to the house and found multiple indicators of a grow operation, according to court records.
A search warrant was served there Friday morning. The men, 34 and 36, were booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of defrauding a public utility, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing a controlled substance.
Investigators also seized marijuana plants, both harvested and still growing. It was unclear Monday how much marijuana was seized or how much power allegedly was diverted to the home.
