STANWOOD – A 65-year-old Renton woman was flown to a Seattle hospital Saturday after the car she was riding in collided with a Jeep Cherokee near the I-5 Stanwood exit, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Barbara Workman was in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center Saturday night, a nursing supervisor said.
Another passenger in Workman’s Mercury, Sandra Workman, 29, of Renton was taken to Providence Medical Center’s Colby campus, but her condition was not available Saturday night.
A Mercury driven by William Workman, 64, of Renton was westbound on Highway 532 about 11:50 a.m. and was making a left turn onto Old Highway 99 when it was struck by the eastbound Jeep driven by Dorothy Bellin, 74, of Camano Island, the State Patrol reported.
Neither William Workman nor Bellin was injured, troopers said.
