VERLOT — Two missing hikers walked off Mount Pilchuck safely at around 11 p.m. Sunday.
A rescue team led the pair down the mountain several hours after the search began, according to Lt. Rodney Rochon of the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
One of the hikers, a man, had a cell phone and called for help. He met up with another lost hiker, a woman who had no means of communication.
The sheriff’s office did not release the names, hometowns or ages of the hikers.
Rescue crews first made contact with the pair just after 9 p.m., Rochon said. The hikers were not hurt.
