LYNNWOOD — Police are investigating an assault on two boys in Lynnwood on Thursday morning involving a pellet gun.
The boys, 10 and 11, were walking to Lynnwood Elementary about 8 a.m. when they were shot at multiple times from a pickup truck.
The younger boy was struck in the calf by at least one pellet, according to Lynnwood police.
After driving past, the truck made a U-turn and the two boys ran home to tell their parents. The truck was described as black and possibly a Ford Ranger.
The suspects were described as two men, both who appeared to be black and in their mid-20s. One had longer hair and the other wore all black clothing.
Police notified the school district.
