Two men arrested in home invasion robbery
Two men, a 22-year-old from Mountlake Terrace and a 21-year-old from Marysville, have been booked into the Snohomish County Jail in connection with a home invasion robbery in Mountlake Terrace.
The robbery occurred on Jan. 31 when two armed men forced their way into a residence in the 22500 block of 57th Ave. W. When a woman answered the door, she saw two armed men, one of whom pointed a gun at her face as they shoved past her into the home, according to Mountlake Terrace police. They asked for her 16-year-old son by name.
They confronted the teenager about an alleged theft from one of the suspect’s friends. The 16-year-old was pistol-whipped and robbed of approximately $300.
The suspects fled the home when the boy’s father said he was calling police.
The Mountlake Terrace man was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on robbery, burglary and assault charges, according to police reports.
The Marysville resident was arrested at a south Everett business and booked into the jail on robbery, burglary and assault charges.
