MARYSVILLE — Marysville police are looking for two men believed to be connected with an assault Tuesday night that sent a Marysville woman to the hospital.
Detectives said they want the public’s help in locating Mikhail P. Shutov and Kevin D. Stagner, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said.
Photos of the two men were released Friday afternoon.
Police believe the two men may be driving a gray 2004 Toyota Tundra, four-door, pick-up, Washington state license B17792C.
Both men are believed to frequent the Everett area, Krusey said.
A woman looking for a ride Tuesday night was hit on the back of the head with a pistol, police said. The handgun may have fired during the assault, but the woman was not shot.
Police were called about 8 p.m. to the 7-Eleven in the 1100 block of State Avenue to reports of gunfire.
They found the Marysville woman who told police she had been to the Taco Bell at Seventh Street and State Avenue when she recognized a man in a truck. She asked for a ride in the truck, which contained a passenger.
When the truck got to the 7-Eleven, the woman tried to climb out over the passenger. She was hit on the head with the pistol, police said. She was able to get out and ran into the convenience store to get help.
The woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for her injuries.
Police ask anyone with information to call 911 or Marysville police at 360-363-8365 or 363-8350.
