LYNNWOOD — Two suspects were arrested in connection with two armed robberies and a carjacking in Lynnwood early Saturday.
Shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday, two suspects carjacked and robbed a victim at gunpoint at an apartment complex near Lynnwood, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The two carjacking suspects then went to another apartment complex in the 16800 block of Larch Way, where they allegedly robbed another person who was shot multiple times in the leg, deputies said. People reported hearing gunshots in the area.
As suspects fled the shooting scene, deputies spotted the vehicle a short distance away and turned to give chase. Before deputies could pursue, the suspect vehicle crashed into a utility pole near 18300 Larch Way, causing power lines to drop onto the road and ignite the stolen vehicle. Both suspects fled on foot, but were later apprehended by police K-9s.
The shooting victim was hospitalized. A suspect was treated for a broken leg. Their conditions are unknown.
