MILTON-FREEWATER, Ore. — Two 19-year-old men on a joyride died when their speeding car hit a tree, police said.
Thomas Beazley and Ronald Nafziger, both of Milton-Freewater, died late Tuesday just over the border in Washington. The teens apparently were speeding when Beazley failed to negotiate a sharp curve, according to the Walla Walla Sheriff’s Department.
The car sped off the road, flipped on its side and slid through some brush before ramming into a large tree, authorities said.
