SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish-area man was seriously injured after a crash on Storm Lake Road on Thursday afternoon.
The man was in a Nissan truck that reportedly crossed the center line, and hit a Dodge truck, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. The crash happened just after 1 p.m. in the 4000 block of the road, northeast of Snohomish.
The driver of the Nissan is believed to be in his 50s, she said.
He was alone in the truck, Hover said. Another person in the Dodge truck was not injured.
Deputies are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash, she said.
The man was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The crash was under investigation by the sheriff’s office collision investigation unit, which also was working on a fatal crash on U.S. 2 Thursday morning.
