U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen and representatives of federal veterans’ organizations will meet with local vets Saturday at the Mountlake Terrace Senior Center.
The Saturday meeting is scheduled for 1-2:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 23000 Lakeview Drive., Mountlake Terrace.
Representatives from the Seattle regional office of the Department of Veterans Affairs, the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, local veterans’ service providers and local WorkSource offices have been invited to help provide information and answer questions.
Larsen says that he welcomes all veterans to join him to talk about veterans’ issues and how his office can help veterans get access to the services available to them.
Democrat Larsen represents the 2nd Congressional District, including Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, coastal areas of Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties from Mukilteo to Bellingham, and all of Island and San Juan counties.
The Mountlake Terrace event is one of six Larsen meetings with veterans around the district this week.
