SEATTLE — Seattle police say two men walked up to a car stopped at a red light in south Seattle and pepper-sprayed the two women inside in an unsuccessful effort to steal the car.
KOMO-TV reported that the driver hit the gas Tuesday evening and raced through the red light without hitting any other cars.
Police said the men ran off. The women pulled into a nearby convenience store to call police. Medics treated them for exposure to the spray.
