Snow is expected to stick to the roads today in parts of Western Washington, forecasters say.
The National Weather Service in Seattle issued a winter weather advisory about 9:30 this morning. It’s expected to remain in effect until 6 a.m. Monday.
Up to 3 inches of snow or more are expected by tonight in Snohomish County, as well as western parts of Whatcom and Skagit counties.
The snow is likely to stick to the pavement and affect travel, according to the weather service. Forecasters urge motorists to prepare for poor visibility and snow-covered roads.
