Snow showers could be in the forecast again late tonight in the Everett area.
The National Weather Service said there could be accumulations of up to an inch of snow late tonight and in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Although early risers may see the snow, it’s expected to change to rain by 7 or 8 a.m. Tuesday, when most commuters hit the highways, said Dana Felton, meteorologist.
Although weather systems are expected to bring more precipitation to the Puget Sound region Wednesday night and Thursday morning, temperatures are expected to be high enough for it to remain as rain through Thursday, Felton said.
