BREMERTON — The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln departed the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard on Wednesday after a nine-month $250 million overhaul.
The Kitsap Sun reports the ship, with a crew of 2,700, is undergoing sea trials before returning to its home port at Everett.
The Navy says the work included replacing the ship’s four propellers and resurfacing the flight deck.
