CASTLE ROCK — Vandalism has slowed the construction of a controversial gun range near Castle Rock.
A portable toiled was tipped over last weekend, and on Tuesday all the survey stakes were removed, which caused a day’s delay for another round of surveying.
The Daily News reported that neighbors in the rural area opposed building the gun range on county land.
Cowlitz Game and Anglers President Dick Miller said he had no idea if opponents or kids “up to no good” were responsible for the vandalism.
