Vandals damage Snohomish churches

SNOHOMISH — Vandals caused minor damage at two neighboring churches in the Snohomish area over the July 4 weekend.

They turned on outside faucets, uprooted part of a community garden and its surrounding mesh fence, and pulled off lettering on the outside of Snohomish United Methodist Church building, 2400 Lake Ave., church officials said.

Vandals also caused damage at The Bridge church nearby.
