SEATTLE — Police are trying to identify vandals who broke out glass Thursday night at a Chase bank branch in Seattle, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Witnesses reported four to six people all dressed in black with hoods and masks, smashing windows with a hammer.
Police spokesman Mark Jamieson say they left “anarchist-style” fliers before fleeing on foot. The same bank was vandalized earlier this year.
Jamieson says masked people in black have also caused some property damage recently in Seattle protesting police brutality.
KIRO-TV reports the bank’s windows are boarded up Friday, but it’s open for business.
