EVERETT — An 80-year-old man was severely injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Everett on Wednesday night.
He was walking in the road along Glenwood Avenue around 6:15 p.m., Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old woman was driving south on that road. As she approached Seahurst Avenue, her vehicle reportedly struck the man.
He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The driver wasn’t injured. She stayed at the scene to talk with detectives, Snell said.
Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
