Voters in nine school districts in Snohomish and Island counties go to the polls today to decide on various bond initiatives and other tax requests.

Everett: $198.9 million bond measure for several major school renovations in its north end and a 17th elementary school in its south; renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $33.5 million per year.
Lake Stevens: A one-year transportation levy raising $1.2 million to buy 16 buses to replace aging ones and expand the fleet to serve the new junior high school; renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy, averaging $11 million per year.
Marysville: $118 million bond measure to build a second high school and a new elementary school, among other projects; renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $17.9 million per year.
Mukilteo: $97.6 million construction bond to pay for a new elementary school, remodeling Mukilteo Elementary School and expanding Kamiak High School, among other improvements; a six-year technology levy raising $2 million per year to put computers on a five-year replacement cycle and upgrade software; renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $26 million per year.
Edmonds: $140 million bond proposal in Edmonds to help pay for a new Lynnwood High School and Meadowdale Middle School; renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $34.6 million per year.
Sultan: Renewal of a maintenance and operation levy averaging $3.5 million per year.
Northshore: $123 million bond request to continue upgrades to older schools and improve playing fields; a four-year technology levy raising $4.5 million per year for new computers, interactive whiteboards and other technology improvements; renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $35.5 million per year.
Coupeville: Renewal of a four-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $2 million per year. Voting is by mail only.
South Whidbey: A two-year capital projects and technology levy raising $550,000 both years for repairs, renovations and technology-related costs; renewal of a two-year maintenance and operation levy averaging $3.5 million per year.
