The happy Powerball saga continues.
With no jackpot winner, Saturday’s record $1.6 billion pot is now at an estimated $1.9 billion for Monday’s drawing.
The cash value of the $1.9 billion prize is a lump sum payment of $921.1 million. The full amount can be taken as an annuity over 30 years.
This is the largest amount ever for a national lottery. Powerball is played in 45 states.
The previous record was a $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot in 2016, shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee.
Monday marks the 41st consecutive drawing without a grand prize winner, topping the prior record of 40.

A ticket costs $2.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
Ticket sales for Monday’s drawing will cut off at 6:45 p.m. Pacific Time. If nobody wins, that ginormous pot of money will be rolled over for Wednesday’s game that will fuel even more frenzy and dreams.
