SEATAC, Wash. — Penny the missing pup has been reunited with her Washington state owners after a cross-country trek that led her to the Pittsburgh area.
Kendra Brown and her husband picked up their 7-month old Vizsla on Friday night after Alaska Airlines offered to fly her back to Seattle.
The Browns say a truck driver picked up the dog near their central Washington home in Royal City, thinking she was a stray. She’s been missing since mid-December.
The truck driver apparently dropped Penny off at a vet’s office in the Pittsburgh area, where her microchip ID was located.
The Browns set up a Facebook page in their search for Penny.
