BREMERTON — A reservation system could shorten some of the long lines at ferry terminals.
If travelers had a guaranteed sailing time they wouldn’t have to show up early and wait.
Washington State Ferries Director David Moseley discussed a reservation system at a Monday meeting in Bremerton.
The Kitsap Sun reports the Legislature directed the system to start a pilot reservation program in 2011 on the Edmonds-Kingston route, which carries more cars than any other run.
