Washington fugitive arrested at Astoria hotel

ASTORIA, Ore. — Police say a shoplifting suspect who pulled a gun to escape from a Lacey Wal-Mart was arrested at an Astoria hotel.

Officers arrested the 25-year-old Puyallup man Saturday evening after a foot chase.

The Daily Astorian reports that he was jailed on charges of robbery and possessing heroin and methamphetamine.

Police also arrested two women in his hotel room for possessing heroin and other drugs.
