TUKWILA— A Washington Department of Corrections officer accidentally shot himself in the leg Wednesday at a police shooting range in Tukwila.
Department spokeswoman Norah West says the officer was among a group of community corrections officers working on their firearms requalification at the Seattle Police Athletic Association shooting range.
KOMO reports the wounded man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and listed in stable condition.
