BREMERTON — Washington state ferries have run on time 97 percent of the time this year.
Ferries Director David Moseley told Bremerton Rotarians Monday the on-time performance is one of the system’s achievements. The state defines “on time” as within 10 minutes of the schedule.
The Kitsap Sun reports Moseley also says the ferry system is considering switching ferries from diesel to liquefied natural gas to save money on fuel.
