LEXINGTON, Ky. — U.S. Marshals in Lexington have caught up with a man who fled Seattle after child sex charges were filed against him nearly 20 years ago.
Patrick Sean McGowan is now 62. He was charged in February 1990 with first-degree statutory rape and molestation of a 5-year-old girl.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported the U.S. Marshal Service said in a news release that McGowan was accused of abusing the girl for more than a year, beginning in August 1985.
McGowan was arrested Monday and was taken to the Fayette County Detention Center.
