EVERETT — A water main broke along Broadway in downtown Everett at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, sending water gushing into the street.
A 12-inch cast iron pipe burst at the corner of 35th Street and Broadway, a city spokeswoman said.
City workers had the break under control by mid-afternoon.
A nearby storage building received some water damage, she said.
