EVERETT — Councilmembers will be discussing marijuana during tonight’s Everett City Council meeting.
The intention of the city staff update is for “evaluating the economics and social impacts” of the city’s five cannabis stores, according to agenda documents.
Staff will be giving a presentation on the income generated from the businesses and the number of police calls to those locations, according to Kimberley Cline, Everett’s communications director.
Councilmember Liz Vogeli requested the information.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at 2930 Wetmore Ave.
