With the goal to get the most out of its community news and sales resources, the offices of The Weekly Herald will move from Lynnwood to The Daily Herald’s main building in Everett by the end of this month.
This change will allow for faster and more direct sharing of information between our publications; it also will eliminate some duplicate expenses, such as utilities and postage.
To ensure permanent contact with the communities they cover, The Weekly Herald staff writers will be assigned laptop computers and other mobile devices so they can spend most of their working time in and around our South County neighborhoods.
On the sales side of our operation, The Weekly Herald advertising staff will work with The Herald’s advertising manager, Ken Clements, as their team leader. Clements replaces John Souza, who left the company at the end of October.
We are confident that these changes will further improve the quality of our community coverage and the service we provide to our readers and advertisers.
