If you are getting your first look at the new design of our website: Yes, this is HeraldNet.com.
And yes, this is still your best source for Snohomish County news, sports, photography and human interest stories.
We invite you to look around — it may take a little while to get used to the changes.
This week The Daily Herald adopted a new content management system and redesigned the website. For the Herald staff, it means a different (and, we hope, improved) way of delivering our journalism. Like any learning experience, it may take a while for us to discover the best way to get the work done.
For you, it means a different (and, we believe, improved) way of browsing, reading and enjoying all the things HeraldNet has to offer. Overall, we hope you appreciate the clean, vivid presentation of articles and images.
Our home page now gives you a dramatic look at some of the region’s best photojournalism. Headlines are larger. Stories are organized and displayed in uncluttered groupings. Best of all, our new design now better serves readers who use smartphones.
Please take some time and get familiar with the new HeraldNet. Test-drive it. Kick the tires. If you want to tell us what you like — or what bugs you or what could be improved — please message me at npattison@heraldnet.com.
If you are having technical problems using the new site, contact webfeedback@heraldnet.com.
Thanks for reading.
