The westbound U.S. 2 trestle is scheduled to be closed from 7:30 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
The trestle also will be closed during the same hours Thursday night and Friday morning.
The closures are planned intermittently through the summer and early fall while girders are refurbished on the 40-year-old structure.
The ramps from Highway 204, 20th Street SE and Bickford Avenue to westbound U.S. 2 will close starting at 7 p.m. each night and will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.
Drivers will follow a signed detour using Highway 9 and Highway 528 (Fourth Street in Marysville) to the north and Highway 9 and Highway 96 (132nd Street SE) to the south.
Drivers should allow 15 to 35 minutes extra for their trips depending on their destination and traffic conditions.
