Arlington: A Memorial Day parade sponsored by American Legion Post 76 starts at 10 a.m. along Olympic Avenue downtown, followed by a ceremony at the Arlington Cemetery, 20310 67th Ave. NE.
Darrington: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1561 of Arlington leads a service at 1 p.m. at the Darrington Cemetery. A celebration of the cemetery’s 100th year follows.
Edmonds: The Edmonds Cemetery Board holds a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery and Columbarium, 820 15th St. SW, with special honors for 24 local men who died during service in the Vietnam War. Bring lawn chairs.
Edmonds: A new Veterans Plaza is dedicated at a ceremony at 2 p.m. at Fifth Avenue N and Bell Street. Speakers include Lt. Gen. Robert P. “Bob” Otto, retired deputy chief of staff for the U.S. Air Force.
Everett: The Central Memorial Committee hosts a ceremony at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 4504 Broadway. Guest speaker is Cmdr. Jerry Jackson of the USS Sampson.
Lake Stevens: American Legion Post 181 holds a Community Memorial Day Service at 10 a.m. at the War Veterans Memorial, 1808 124th Ave. NE.
Lynnwood: Vietnam Veterans of America Sno-King Chapter 423 and Purdy and Walters hold a ceremony at 11 a.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery, 409 Filbert Road. This year’s dedication honors the U.S. Army.
Marysville: American Legion Post 178 holds a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Marysville Cemetery, 8801 State Ave. Guest speakers are Mayor Jon Nehring and retired Navy Capt. Michael G. Shaw. An open house with light lunch follows, 12-3 p.m. at the Post, 119 Cedar Ave.
Mill Creek: A 10:30 a.m. parade winds down Main Street through Mill Creek Town Center, ending at City Hall.
Mukilteo: The Mukilteo Historical Society hosts a program at 10 a.m. at Pioneer Cemetery, 513 Webster St.
Snohomish: American Legion Post 181 holds a ceremony at noon at the Machias Cemetery, at 135th Avenue SE and 12th Street SE.
Sultan: Veterans of Foreign Wars Martin-Osterholtz Post 9417 of Gold Bar hosts a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the large monument at Sultan Cemetery, located at the east end of Cascade View Drive.
