Want to participate in a new TV recycling program?
From Thursday until Aug. 7 you can drop off your old TV at Good Guys’ electronics store in Lynnwood.
The cost is $10, $25 for big screens.
Good Guys is located at 19800 44th Ave. W. and can be reached at 425-640-5514.
Snohomish County also offers electronic waste recycling at:
* Airport Road Recycling and Transfer Station, 10700 Minuteman Drive, Everett.
* North County Recycling and Transfer Station, 19600 63rd Ave. NE, Arlington.
* A temporary recycling and transfer station at 8915 Cathcart Way, located south of Snohomish.
Costs: $10 for computer hard drives and laptops; $14 for computer monitors; $20 for TVs; $27 for big screen TVs and other large screens.
It costs $10 to recycle printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, VCRs, stereos and DVD players. It’s also legal to throw away any of these items.
There’s no charge to dispose of cellphones, Personal Digital Assistants, keyboards, computer cables and speakers.
