Construction currently under way in Snohomish County:
* Widening Highway 527 from 164th Street SE to 132nd Street SE in Mill Creek. Cost: $25 million. To be completed in June.
* Direct access ramps for buses and carpools from the I-5 carpool lanes to the Ash Way park-and-ride lot. Cost: $18.43 million. To be completed in September 2005.
* Direct-access ramps for buses and carpools from the I-5 carpool lanes to the Lynnwood park-and-ride lot. Cost: $31 million. To be completed in December.
County projects starting this month:
* Repaving Highway 529 between Marysville and Everett. Cost: $1.9 million. To be completed in June.
* Repaving Highway 9 from Highway 96 to Highway 204 and add safety improvements, including a traffic signal. Cost: $4 million. To be completed in August.
* Add left turn lanes off U.S. 2 in the Gold Bar area. Cost: $767,000. To be completed in October.
* Install a signal and make other improvements at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 528 in Marysville. Cost: $668,000. To be completed in July.
* Widen Highway 527 to five lanes from 132nd Street SE to 112th Street SE in Everett. Cost: $20.5 million. To be completed in winter 2005.
Projects starting in June:
* Adding left-turn lanes off Highway 92 at Highway 9 and 84th Street. The road will also be lowered by 6 feet near 113th Street for visibility. Cost: $5.7 million.
To be completed in September 2005.
* Building a pedestrian bridge over I-5 in Lynnwood at 196th Street SW. To be completed in September 2005.
* Redesign The Highway 9 and U.S. 2 intersection, including adding traffic signals. Cost: $5.3 million. To be completed in June.
* Build a Highway 522 overpass and new interchange at Fales/Echo Lake Road. Cost: $15 million.
Projects starting in July:
* Building a new, wider bridge at I-5 and Highway 531. Cost: $6.2 million. To be completed fall 2005.
* Stabilize the slopes on U.S. 2 on the west side of Stevens Pass. Cost: $2.4 million. To be completed in October.
* Repave a section of Highway 524 near 44th Avenue W. in Lynnwood. Cost: $365,000. To be completed in July.
