John Whitaker, 23, of Everett, was convicted of aggravated murder in the death of Rachel Burkheimer Monday.
The jury deliberated a little more than 13 hours over three days before announcing its verdict.
Whitaker now faces mandatory punishment of life in prison without possibility of release.
Whitaker was also convicted of conspiracy to commit murder.
