LYNNWOOD — The Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to collisions caused by debris that fell off a truck Sunday morning on northbound I-5 north of 164th Street.
Around 6:30 a.m., a large piece of metal debris from a pickup truck hit a Hyundai Elantra and an Infinity QX4, significantly damaging the vehicles, the State Patrol said. The truck driver didn’t stop but might have pulled onto the shoulder shortly after losing the metal. No one was injured.
State troopers are seeking additional witnesses to the crashes and anyone who was traveling through the area between 6:20 and 6:45 a.m. with dash-cam video. Anyone with information regarding the truck that lost the debris can contact trooper Dawn Ferrell at 509-607-0052 or by email at dawn.ferrell@wsp.wa.gov.
